Initially working with AMR Consult on behalf of Horsforth School, we carried our an analysis of the existing school accommodation and developed feasibility proposals for the purpose of inviting Design and Build tenders. Subsequently, we teamed up with Morgan Sindall who were successful with their bid, developing our proposals to include a new two-storey detached expansion building to the school with a focus on STEM subjects and post 16 education. Work was completed in 2022 with the new expansion building handed over to the school in early May ready for full occupation in September. The project enables the school to increase its intake by 60 pupils a year helping to serve the local community. The new building is primarily used by Post-16 students with the new main hall lecture theatre seating providing an excellent pathway from school to university.
