The project required sensitive renovation works to a Grade II listed former stately home, including internal reconfiguration at ground-floor level, extensive redevelopment of the basement to create new living accommodation, and refurbishment of communal areas including the design of a bespoke stairwell. Protecting the building's historic fabric, original features are retained and complemented with carefully considered and high-quality new additions, while simultaneously addressing a number of issues to ensure long-term preservation of this important architectural asset.
