Planning achieved September 2008. Also know as Kidwells Park Drive, this project replaces two separate outmoded commercial building of 15,000ft², with a new £18 million grade A commercial building with a net lettable floor area of 87,500ft². The scheme ahs been designed to respond to a number of key constraints. Due to the orientation of the site, the south facade is primarily red brickwork which also reflects the character of the neighbouring listed church, whilst the north facade is curved and fully glazed to maximise the penetration of natural daylight. This in turn creates a dramatic facade along the A4 which will transform as the light changes through the course of a day. The building is serviced through the use of chilled ceilings and displaced air, which combined with other sustainable solutions has enabled this building to achieve and "excellent" BREEAM rating.
