This project involved the complete refurbishment of a much-altered cottage that had its roots in the eighteenth century. Our design solution to the small cramped and difficult layout was to remove most of the internal walls and redundant chimney breasts, and relocate the stairs to a central position. A new roof was added to encompass the area previously covered by the main pitched roof adjacent lean-to.
