St Paul with St Luke CE Primary School (SPWSL) is expanding to meet the demand for primary school places in Tower Hamlets. The school will embrace this fantastic opportunity to replace its once great but now dilapidated and increasingly unsuitable building with a new state-of-the art 2FE school for the 21st Century, situated within playgrounds and extended community gardens, making close physical links to the surrounding streets, the neighbouring housing and the school’s own St Paul’s Church on St Paul’s Way. By taking advantage of the particular qualities of its existing site and its immediate surroundings, through the development of sustainable partnerships with its neighbours and with the benefit t of the subsidy that is made available by the addition of a residential tower above, this expanding school can play a key part in the re-creation of this special corner of Bow Common.
