About the practice

Sand Architects is a design-led London-based architectural practice founded by Chris Amster in 2022. As an RIBA Chartered Practice, we deliver projects across a range of sectors and scales throughout London, the UK and internationally. With over 20 years of architectural experience, we specialise in residential extensions, bespoke new-build homes, commercial office design and workplace fit-outs. Our approach always begins with the client, working closely before and during the creative process. Our projects are informed by context, use, materials and the people that occupy them. This enriches the design and provides a unique, imaginative project of the highest quality tailored to our client’s needs.
