Russian For Fish has been working with local artists in Brockley, since 2014. The live work units are located within a mews, celebrated for its light industrial heritage. To date we have gained planning permission for six live work units, across five plots. The first project involved the conversion of a single storey workshop: Our proposal retained the single brick skin walls, inserting two timber-clad buildings between them, separated by a small courtyard. The other 4 plots are new build units, including basements. Two of the projects are currently on site, with a third due to start later in the year [2024].
