This low-impact, cutting–edge home has a number of highly sustainable features. The building integrates into its environment making minimal impact to the grounds of a Listed Georgian property. The earth shelter retaining wall was created with insulated concrete formwork (ICF) and has a raised floor construction above anticipated flood levels, bridging natural springs which traverse the site. The building incorporates slimline glazing - coupled with rooflights this has created a light and airy interior. An MVHR system ensures a balanced low energy ventilation system throughout.
