Project for a new house south of Yeovil on an elevated site with sweeping views of the Dorset countryside. The design takes the form of a single barn-like volume with a low pitched green roof,with locally sourced reclaimed brick & flint walls and large windows set back from the face of the walls. Locally sourced materials, high levels of insulation, PV and ground source heat pumps will ensure a very low carbon footprint.
