Nando's Chicken restaurants are known for their informal and rustic atmosphere. The South African / portuguese recipe restaurant is characterised by references to rustic Portuguese and African architecture and decorations. In this restaurant at Milton Keynes' latest development 'the Hub' the approach has been thoroughly contemporary and urban/ cosmopolitan, rather than rural/ rustic. A 3000sf restaurant with dark woods, a velvet matt brown resin floor, earthy colours and extensive use of pattern on glazing and ceilings creates a sophisticated, yet welcoming and warm atmosphere. All furniture is bespoke for the project and based on South African 'rimpie' furniture.
