This project was carried in two phases, initially relocating the ground floor kitchen, then carrying out a basement refurbishment and extension to this project near Primrose Hill, Camden. The ground floor kitchen maintains the traditional feel of the main house with beautifully detailed joinery. The basement is more modern with a limited palette of white walls and oak joinery and panelling. Brick is used inside and out for the basement extension, with slim framed glazing separating the living space from the garden. Ground floor and basement are connected via an oak lined staircase.
