We were appointed to deliver pre-application advice, concept design and full planning services for a residential scheme in a sensitive rural location in Dorset. The site required careful consideration of local planning policy, landscape impact and settlement character. Through early engagement with the Local Planning Authority and a rigorous contextual design approach, planning approval was successfully secured. The approved scheme balances contemporary architecture with Dorset’s vernacular materials and rural setting. We are currently progressing detailed technical drawings for Building Regulations and construction, with the intention to continue through tender and contract administration stages.
