Rolfe Judd Architecture , Old Church Court , Claylands Road , LONDON , SW8 1NZ

One of London’s largest regeneration projects to support its expansion and meet the needs of the growing and diverse population. Over 5500 new homes will be delivered at Woodberry Down, with more than 40% affordable, all on a 26 hectare site. Our planning and architecture teams have worked with Hackney Council and Berkeley Homes for the past decade to deliver this exemplar project. Rolfe Judd Architecture have designed a number of buildings on the site, including Riverside and Waterside Apartments, Aqua Apartments and the Skyline tower. Skyline provides an iconic focal point and is one of a pair of towers at the heart of Woodberry Down. The high level apartments offer stunning views across two expansive areas of water, tranquil parkland and the London skyline. The design of the tower responds to the incredible natural environment nearby. Arranged over 30 floors, Skyline comprises 135 premier apartments all with a southern orientation to flood in natural light. The design gives emphasis to maximising views with large balconies to facilitate outdoor living. In part, all elevations are clad in profiled metal panels to create a rippling effect, reminiscent of the aquatic setting. Façades are designed to accentuate the verticality of the tower. Units are finished to a high quality specification and residents benefit from on-site facilities, which include a gym, pool, spa and concierge service.
