Quail Hollow located in Woodchester, Nailsworth, included a single storey extension and replanning of the original cottage to provide a modern family home. High performance sliding glass doors, together with metal seam cladding and a lighweight green sedum roof create a contemporary addition to the historic Cotswold cottage. A feature wood burning stove provides a focal point to the open plan living area, with large sliding doors opening onto the garden terrace seating area to enjoy stunning views across the valley. The project combines traditional features with contemporary design to provide a variety of living spaces, including a cosy family room within the cottage, and a light filled spacious kitchen dining space in the new extension.
