This development is made of three new buildings and one refurbishment on an important site only a few hundred yards from the cathedral precinct and bounding the historic minster wall, and delivered 16 luxury apartments. The project had the benefit of a very proactive planning environment which help achieve a high level of design quality; on which basis it was selected as an exemplar project by The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) in their training for planning committee members.
