The clinet who had recently bought the house approached us with some ideas of the extension she was looking for. We discussed and prepared proposals based on the requiremetns for consideration. The works were to remove the existing projecting small kitchen area which stepped down into it and to extend across the whole width to create an additional breakfast area which would be open to the small original living area. The resulting design acheives teh client basic breif but provides the additional desing aspect. We were involved with teh preparation of propsals from the survey through the permitted development planning and the building control information as well as information for construction. The client in this instance had a contractor who she was going to use to complet eth works and so apart from some advise tot he client during the building works was our involvement.
