The four houses are designed with a modern open plan layout to maximise the feeling of space. The kitchen area is integrated into the main living area. A separate utility room is provided for washing machine, dryer etc. There is also a study or playroom separate from the main living area. The site has an existing access between two houses. Traffic calming measures and tree planters are proposed with a close boarded fence to each side. Between the dwellings will be in permeable block paving with planters. There will be a level paving area to each front door with a sloping paved access. The scheme is arranged in a courtyard setting with a central area giving access to each house.
