Richmond Bell Architects were commissioned to produce a concept design and planning feasibility study for this large riverside development in Sussex. The multi-purpose site consisted of flats, restaurants, shops, a gym, boathouses and a yacht club, as well as a boardwalk and landscaped promenade. It was intended to regenerate an underdeveloped area of the town, as well as attracting visitors to the town centre. The finished design blended sympathetically with the natural environment and offers local residents a place to live, relax and socialise.
