We were appointed to provide detailed construction drawings for this project. We were also involved as contract administrators, reviewing the construction works and making sure that the statutory sign off certificates are in place. The site is within a conservation area, so it was important to get the detail of the construction right in order to reflect the heritage status of the surrounding area and properties. This included a mix of property styles and use of materials. Replicating heritage details such as chimneys, finials and rain water goods and respecting the buffer of mature trees also added to the appearance and ecology of the site.
