New life has been brought to this tired former commercial building boasting a prominent High Street location within Borough Green, near Sevenoaks. We have created 5no. bespoke apartments for Watermark Homes, a great boutique developer and client, with extensive remodelling. Watermark approached RHJB keen to continue building their portfolio, and establish an identity for design awareness, contemporary living and high end finish. Firstly, RHJB sought to establish change of use via Permitted Development. Then, through successful negotiation with the Local Authority, Full Planning Permission was granted to overhaul and extend the building to create 5 beautiful, new, contemporary apartments. This concrete and steel framed building has not been without its challenges! Converting it to bring it up to current standards and create a landmark in the street scene required careful and creative architectural input from RHJB throughout the design, and subsequent build process. We were delighted to collaborate with Furnished by Anna on the interior design elements of this project, developing a project that links both exterior and interior styles seamlessly.
