Reid Brewin Architects submitted this entry to a design competition for a French medical research organisation. The challenge was to integrate a new modern, high-tech laboratory building within the historic campus, providing a contemporary yet complimentary design. The building contained labs, offices, meeting rooms, and associated spaces across nine levels, in addition to a rooftop garden. The construction plan utilised prefabricated structural elements to limit disruption in the historic neighbourhood.
