Re-Format sourced site and submitted competition entry in collaboration with client and project team which were then engaged to deliver the entire project, including conservation architect for English Heritage grant. Key Areas: Listed building in a conservation area: early consultation and discussion with all stakeholders. Quality of place: achieved by the creation of new public landscaped courtyards. Overlooking & Privacy: addressed by careful design layout and orientation of dwellings. Energy Conservation: timber frame, high levels of air tightness, MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery), EcoHomes level 3, re-use of existing structure.
