Mill Street saw the conversion of a badly neglected grade II listed building into five new dwellings along with the construction of a further seven new homes in a modern, mews-style development. The listed building dates back to the 17th century in part and had previously been used as a builders merchants, suffering a range of poor alterations and adaptations. The scheme brought those unloved spaces back into use as a residential site linking from one of the main streets in the town centre to the historic churchyard of St Marys parish.
