About the practice

Reed Watts Architects is a design-led studio based in London. Established in 2015 we have a growing reputation for creative and thoughtful architecture. We work over a range of scales and sectors – from fit-outs, domestic extensions and houses, to larger heritage, commercial and residential projects as well as public and cultural buildings. We believe that the best buildings are derived not only from outstanding creativity and design, but also from great teamwork. Central to this is an open and inclusive working methodology in which our role is to both listen and to lead the design team. We are passionate about the craft of building and seek delight and beauty in detail and innovation. This is underpinned by considerable technical expertise and a commitment to sustainability in all its forms – environmental, social and economic. Many of our projects deal with listed buildings and conservation areas and we enjoy the challenges and opportunities offered by existing structures. We believe that good design enriches our environment and our lives and that it should be accessible to everyone.
