This rear extension project replaces an existing modern extension which had become too small and wasn't ideally suited to our client needs. The proposed design now provides a larger more open kitchen and dining space which relates better to the existing house and beautiful garden. The large glazed areas feature frameless glazing combined with a timber framed sliding- and smaller hinged door and a heavy timber framed window seat; the same timber is used for the kitchen worktops and the reclaimed buff London stock brick walls tie the extension back to the original house.
