This house had previously been reconfigured with new openings and double height spaces and now, a further bedroom and en suite bathroom was needed. In response to the planning restrictions of the conservation area, the loft conversion had to be developed within the existing envelope. Starting from-/ and enhancing the existing design, more rooflights and open grid flooring were added and, with careful space planning, a bright and spacious bedroom, en suite bathroom and a new storage mezzanine level could be realised while further enhancing the existing spaces below.
