This mid-terrace property in Balham had been unoccupied for some time and was in dire need of modernisation and repair. Our clients brief was to create a five-bedroomed family home with a large kitchen and improved garden connections. A wrap-around extension at ground floor has facilitated the creation of a fabulous open-plan kitchen/dining space with partially vaulted and glazed ceiling, a projecting window seat bay as well as a new downstairs WC and utility cupboard, while an L-shaped loft conversion accommodated two additional bedrooms and a new shower room. Construction is due to complete later this year.
