This scheme comprises a new two storey rear and side extension with ground floor conservatory and refurbishment to the whole house. The proposal involved the demolition of an existing two storey structure and a more recent raised ground floor conservatory. The proposal achieves a high quality of both architectural and urban design, enhancing the immediate built environment and addressing the imbalance that currently exists with its “handed twin” in order to create an attractive, high amenity living space and it has been designed to make a positive contribution to the housing stock within the borough.
