Project to replace an existing Police Station building with new large scale Custody Centre with associated offices and support facilities. RSP undertook initial Feasibility Designs working with D&B Contractor Wates to demonstrate to the Client that their brief requirements for the site could be accommodated through façade retention of the original building and re-development of the remaining site with a new build development constructed around the vehicle turning movements needed for Custody vehicles to enter and exit the site. Detailed planning negotiations were undertaken with the Local Planning Department and following Planning Approval detailed design proposals were developed in line with Wates' procurement requirements.
