The long term vision will see this mixed use development transformed into a successful vibrant commercial area which will create the balance of businesses, residents, workers, users and visitors that will stimulate the full range of activities characterised by a high performing 21st Century City. The brief was to progress the design up to RIBA Stage 2, for a maximum 2-storey municipal car park with a suitable roof deck along with associated public realm. It is anticipated that the carparks will be developed by the local council providing infrastructure which will be able to facilitate a future private sector led development.
