A contemporary refurbishment and extension of the former Winchester Union Workhouse complex, situated close to Winchester city centre. The works involved the opening-up of the ground floor to create a contemporary open plan living space, for which a bespoke staircase and spiral wine cellar were designed and installed. The design also included the integration of a contemporary rear conservatory extension constructed in stainless steel, zinc and glass. This extension makes use of large format sliding doors that open out and link to a newly re-established private courtyard garden.
