Race Cottam Associates have worked with global manufacturer AESSEAL for over 20 years. AESSEAL are the 4th largest global manufacturer of mechanical seals and equipment. The Templeborough site in Rotherham is AESSEAL’s global headquarters for business and trade. The latest development creates a landmark building on Sheffield Road, linking to their existing facility to develop their global headquarters, creating a state-of-the-art factory designed as a global showcase for sustainable manufacturing. The project adds approximately 50% of capacity to the original facility. The new building comprises a 50,000 sq. ft (4500sqm) single storey machine shop supporting a range of state-of-the-art robotic machines and 2 storey office accommodation of around 1300 sq. ft. (120sqm). A fully-glazed elevation facing Sheffield Road showcases AESSEAL’s advanced manufacturing operations.
