RHP were appointed to undertake the design of a new business and innovation centre located on the edge of the University of Kent's Canterbury campus; the first phase of a new business and technology park. The 3,400m² building comprises of a series of various sized workshops, studios and office accommodation to support fledgling and growing businesses, innovation and development requirements. Via a double height central 'hub', the building offers occupiers business centre support facilities which include full time reception, meeting rooms and other formal and informal breakout areas presenting the opportunity for business networking, links to training and technology/knowledge exchange. The building has been awarded a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
