The so called Wren Wing at Easton Neston is a substantial structure which lost its roof in a fire in 2002. After this time it lay only partly protected by a temporary roof as a gutted shell. Listed Grade I, this building retained enough evidence to allow a new oak roof structure to be made that was faithful to the original. At the same time, the opportunity was taken not to restore part of the second floor to enable a double height studio to be formed to support the client?s design office which is to be located in the Wren Wing. The works have included the re-roofing and repair of the Real Tennis Court building, relandscaping of the service courtyard and future repairs to the Grade II listed Stables.
