Primary was set up in a disused school, to provide studios for artists. In 2013, we prepared initial studies for the conversion of the school halls to exhibition and event spaces, and following successful fund raising a sequence of modifications were completed. In 2015 our ‘Paravent Crates’ were installed as an interactive framing device for a series of events and exhibitions. Most recently we have completed a feasibility study for the long term development of the site. This includes the relocation of entrances and exhibition spaces, and the construction of a new building to provide additional studio and workshop space.
