A residential development of five houses on the edge of Exmoor National Park. The brownfield site is located close to the centre of this historic brewery town with a southern aspect and gentle topography overlooking the surrounding countryside. The houses occupy a prominent site addressing the open countryside to the east and the tightly knit former brewery complex to the west. Drawing from Victorian industrial buildings, the five houses are expressed as a single large house to the east and a more intimate mews to the west.
