Margaret House in Barley, Royston with a two storey, 24 bed dementia wing being the majority of the works, as well as the new entrance to the existing home which was recently completed. The site had fierce opposition from the local population being in a conservation area, but was granted permission due to the contextually appropriate design. The Care Home's design is inspired by the local vernacular including the existing care home, with details such as parapet gables and the brick type being used.
