The Regal Cinema, Port Street is a beautiful example of Grade II listed architecture. The practice was engaged to prepare detailed design plans and specifications for the restoration of the original fabric and rooftop extension incorporating two new screens and bar facilities. Plans also included refitting the main auditorium café, circle and back of house amenities. Refurbishing the Regal is a community based project with a vast array of skills drawn from a “Friends of the Regal” network. Phase one of this project was successfully completed in 2011, and the practice has since been commissioned to complete new extension works which were started in 2014. We are especially proud of The Regal Cinema and have been awarded the Wychavon Heritage Design Award for our sympathetic conservation of the Art Deco building.
