Situated on the bank of the river Avon, this contemporary structure serves as a private tennis pavilion and sun deck, with breathable access to a boat store below. The pavilion contains a small kitchenette which can be utilised during garden parties. This building has been designed and built with sustainable materials and construction processes in mind. The curved Sedum roof allows the structure to sit comfortably within the landscape. This feature also pulls the structure together in terms of composition and enhances its contemporary character. The cladding systems compliment each other beautifully. Shingles have been used around the kitchenette entrance, whilst timber slats have been used on the side elevations to provide a ventilated structure for boat storage and create a dynamic aesthetic.
