PMR Architecture were asked to design a 'betterment' scheme to improve upon an existing permission that was in place for a barn conversion that no longer fitted the clients requirements. We worked closely with the client to design a pair of homes for the clients children and their families that would fit with the character of the area and achieve planning permission and the construction within a short time frame. PMR Architecture was also responsible for the technical drawings and created the pair of homes to be environmentally friendly using high levels of insulation as well as a large amount of solar panels on the roof.
