This stunning house is located on the River Exe Estuary in South Devon and the design is for a sustainable family home and will be net-zero carbon in use. Nestled in the conservation area of Lympstone village, the design for a striking two storey building which cantilevers out towards the highway. This cantilever was a practical choice, rather than aesthetic as the site is tight and the access road narrow, so this additional space enables the clients to park and turn within the courtyard formed by the building. Living spaces are on the first floor to make the most of the views.
