A new build house to replace an exisitng cottage in a rural location close to the village of West Meon. A brief was evolved in collaboration with the client to produce a very personal, contemporary home which took advantage of the steeply sloping site. In addition there was a focus on providing a highly sustainable building which, whilst modern in appearance, paid due regard to the surrounding environment.
