Our clients in Northwich had a leaky old conservatory at the back of their house connected to an original outbuilding used as a make-shift utility. Our task was to design a contemporary brick extension with large lantern rooflight to open up the rooms at the back of the house to make a large kitchen-diner-family room. The existing outbuilding was also getting an upgrade into a properly insulated, fitted utility with shower room. A number of options were experimented with and planning consent was granted in January 2021 with work commencing on site shortly after. It was completed in the summer of 2021 and is now a beautifully flowing family space.
