The contemporary design is sympathetic to its context and includes brick and zinc clad walls, glass balustrades and feature painted signage. The design is highly energy efficient and incorporates highly insulated timber frame construction, triple glazed windows and a photovoltaic array on the flat roof. In addition, a retained former industrial building is restored and converted into 6 loft-style apartments.
