Having won a limited design competition, Picardi Architects were commissioned to develop the design for the new administrative block of approx 3000 sqm - to be sited next to the RAC House Control Centre, along the M6. The guiding criteria have been as follows: - to achieve great planning flexibility - to respond to site, environmetal and organisational requirements - to ensure that the configuration of the building should not diminish the visual impact of the RAC House. Picardi was the responsible for the design of the RIBA award winning RAC House, Bescot.
