Rivendale is an Extra Care facility in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. The scheme was designed by P+HS Architects for Broadacres Housing Association in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council, Hambleton District Council, and the Homes and Communities Association. The new scheme provides attractive and accessible accommodation which allows people to live independently with the level of care available when they need it. The new development includes: 51 individual 2 bed apartments each including a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There is also a community base for 12 people with high support needs. The highly sustainable development incorporates plenty of on site facilities such as communal dining area, hair salon, therapy room, bistro, hobby room, lounges,laundry, shop, quiet garden and an activities garden for bowls, croquet and growing vegetables.
