Col Legno is a new contemporary five bedroom house with swimming pool annexe in Oxted. The site is located in an area characterised by detached homes on generous plots. Adding diversity to the character of the area, an honest, contemporary approach to the new building has been adopted which works with the sloping woodland, trapezoidal shaped site. The building is broken down into distinct single and two storey forms, which follow the slope of the site. The main house is two storey with a green roof, whilst a single storey linear wing houses the pool; its roof wraps around the north east of the building to create a covered canopy at the entrance.
