The brief was developed closely with the family to create a schedule of accommodation which reflected their lifestyle and family dynamics. The dwelling features a traditional architectural style with materials similar to the existing property in order to be sympathetic to its context. Spread over three floors, the ground floor of this dwelling offers a light and spacious Kitchen and Family Room entertaining space that opens out onto the property’s grounds through large bi-folding doors. Located away from the main entertaining space a traditional snug can be found which offers the client a relaxing space to retreat around their wood burning stove. Bedroom accommodation is spread across the first and second floor of this property. The Master Bedroom benefits from large double height space with exposed oak roof structure, large oak glazed gable with double doors that lead out onto a balcony with views out over the property’s grounds and open countryside beyond, large wet-room ensuite, dressing room and walk-in wardrobe.
