Refurbishment of the Grade 1 listed Old Schools for the University of Cambridge. Works included new office accommodation, a tea room with a screen printed image of the Old Schools and meeting rooms with video conferencing facilities. It was a complex city centre site, partially occupied during the works, so the works required careful programming and phasing. A number of departments were relocated requiring careful briefing and sign-offs throughout the project to deliver the high quality fit-out the client expected. Peter Rawlings Architects provided a comprehensive architectural service from inception to completion, including a listed building application.
