The client brief was to extend and refurbish their house to provide additional flexible living space opening to the garden, a utility cum bike store, a new master bedroom and to refurbish the remainder of the house. The design delivers these requirements through a new open-plan kitchen dining space with a sliding door into a separate study/consulting room. There are high performance sliding folding doors to the garden that open fully to a new terrace. Other works include two new bathrooms. Peter Rawlings Architects provided a comprehensive architectural service from inception to completion, including a planning application.
